What is a guide bar?

As the name suggests, strips are plastic strips that have positioning and guiding effects. Its function is to make the conveyor run accurately on the conveyor and prevent running deviation. It can also be used as the material positioning of the conveyor belt bearing surface.

The bars are green (common), black and white, etc. The use of manufactured materials are mainly PVC, PU, PE, etc., so as to adapt to the different quality requirements of the general industry and food production and packaging industries.

The common specifications of guide bars are: 6*4, 10*6, 13*8, 17*11 (in mm). Its cross-section is isosceles trapezoid. The meaning of the marking specification is 6*4, which means 6mm wide and 4mm thick.

The role of conveyor belts and guide bars

The main role of the guide bar is two. One is to prevent the conveyor belt from deviating during operation and the other is to use it as a positioning on the bearing surface.

When the guide bar is added to the roller contact surface of the conveyor belt, the effect is to make the conveyor belt run accurately and prevent it from running after long-term operation, so as to protect the long-term use of the conveyor belt.

When the guide bar is added to the carrier surface of the conveyor belt, it is mainly to prevent the material from rolling. Such conveyor belts are mainly used in some food processing, such as egg conveyor belts.

The above is some introduction of guide bars and guide bar conveyor belts.
